Yasmina Rose

Yasmina Rose is a naturally selected mango variety that originated in Egypt. Rose-like aromatic Yasmina Rose mangoes taste very sweet (TSS: 22-24 brix) having mild spicy and floral notes of the roses. The pulp of Yasmina Rose is buttery, without any fibre. Its average weight is 300 grams. It is harvested during the mid-season (June in West Bengal, India). Yasmina Rose trees exhibit a vigorous growth habit with dense canopies (any mango tree in this world can be maintained at a low height if pruned on a regular basis). Yasmina Rose mangoes are best suited for table consumption. It can commercially be farmed for the domestic market (as is being done in Egypt). It can also be adopted for kitchen gardens/terrace gardens/rooftop gardens.
