Naomi is a hybrid mango variety originating from Israel, developed as a cross between Palmer and Maya/Haden/Nimrod/Irwin. Vivid red in colour with rich tropical flavour and very sweet taste (TSS up to 21 brix), averaging 450 grams per fruit. Harvested mid-to-late season — June end / July in West Bengal, India — with a second harvest possible in December–January. The plant is semi-dwarf with an open canopy, making it suitable for smaller spaces - high-density farming and ultra-high-density farming as well as for kitchen gardens and rooftop gardens. It is an export-quality commercial cultivar. Extensively farmed in Israel, Egypt, and Australia for domestic as well as export due to its regular production and heavy bearing (it bears in bunches), and its long shelf life of 14 days. Best suited for: Small Gardens / Large Gardens / Farms / Commercial gardens.
