Husn-e-Ara (the most beautiful mango in the world) is a naturally selected mango variety that originated at Mirzaganj, Malihabad, Uttar Pradesh (India). Delightfully aromatic, the Husn-e-Ara mangoes taste adequately sweet (TSS up to 22 brix). It has an average weight of 250-300 grams. It is harvested during mid-season - June in West Bengal, India), and July in North India. The tree shows vigorous growth with a dense canopy (any mango tree in the world can be kept low if pruned regularly). Husn-e-Ara is best suited for table purposes. Some orchards in Uttar Pradesh commercially grow Husn-e-Ara. It can also be adopted for kitchen gardens / rooftop gardens.
