Haribhanga is a naturally selected mango variety that originated in the Rangpur region of Bangladesh. Besides their captivating aroma, Haribhanga mangoes are very sweet (TSS up to 23 brix). The pulp is devoid of any fibre, melting in the mouth. It has an average weight of 250-350 grams. It is harvested during mid-season - June in West Bengal, India. The trees are vigorous with spreading canopies (however, the trees can be maintained at the desired height through regular pruning). Haribhanga is best suited for table purposes. Given its exceptionally good flavour and taste profile, Haribhanga saplings can be planted for commercial farming for Farms / Rooftop Gardens / Kitchen Garden / Small orchard.
