Arka Suprabhath was bred by crossing \u003cstrong\u003eAmrapali (Dashehari × Neelum) × Arka Anmol (Alphonso × Janardhan Pasand)\u003c\/strong\u003e, bringing together four classic Indian parent cultivars in its ancestry. A group of IIHR Scientists including Dr. M. Sankaran created this cultivar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe fruit shape, taste and flavour profile closely resemble \u003cstrong\u003eAlphonso\u003c\/strong\u003e, with average weight ranging \u003cstrong\u003e250–350 grams\u003c\/strong\u003e. The pulp takes after \u003cstrong\u003eAmrapali\u003c\/strong\u003e — deep orange, firm, and with excellent pulp recovery of \u003cstrong\u003eover 70%\u003c\/strong\u003e. It carries a \u003cstrong\u003eTSS above 22°Brix\u003c\/strong\u003e, low acidity (\u003cstrong\u003e0.12%\u003c\/strong\u003e), and good levels of carotenoids and flavonoids, giving it both flavour and nutritional value. Shelf life is a useful \u003cstrong\u003e8–10 days at room temperature, which makes it ideal for export as well as domestic market.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eArka Suprabhath is a late-season variety which ripens in the third and fourth week of July in West Bengal, India.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe seeds are monoembryonic and relatively smaller in size, resulting into high pulp recovery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe tree is \u003cstrong\u003emedium-vigorous\u003c\/strong\u003e, with a \u003cstrong\u003eregular, bunch-bearing\u003c\/strong\u003e habit and notably high productivity — yielding \u003cstrong\u003e35–40 kg per plant\u003c\/strong\u003e as early as four years after planting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eAt Amrakunja Nursery \u0026amp; Farms, it has been observed that Arka Suprabhath has been regular, high bearing, and is excellent in terms aroma, taste and flavour profile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eArka Suprabhath is highly recommended for commercial farming.
